Notes
Freddy Pharkas is placed around Coarsegold, California, which was a location of Sierra's headquarters inside 1993.

A villain "Kenny the Kid" occurs as cartoonish version of Sierra's so-president Ken Williams.

Madame Ovaree's title is an perceptible parody of Madame Bovary.

Around at least a single print advertising for a game, Freddy Pharkas is said to exist as "the great-great-grandpappy of Leisure Suit Larry". (This is belike intended as a humourous nod to Al Lowe's other illustrious games like than an actual attempt to establish the genealogy for Larry.)

Al Lowe has said that he considers Freddy Pharkas one of his funniest games. He gives much of credit to Josh Mandel, who co-wrote a game, too when a few of a songs including the opening & closing ballads. (Mandel was a humourous collaborator in many Sierra games, including the Space Quest series and The Dagger of Amon Ra.)

Lowe admitted that his goal was to produce the laughable american game in the vein of Blazing Saddles. Freddy Pharkas emphatically contains its part of scatological humor: it might super easily hang on to the distinction of a sole video game where the streaming video player must capture a horse's flatulence in a carrier bag.
